The phoenix and the unicorn in Berlin

Now that I'm again relaxed, I can sincerely say it. It was with great emotion that on Wednesday 26 August in the room 3059 of the main building of the Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin (3° Floor), I explained my theory of the astronomical interpretation of the phoenix myth and of the unicorn myth to an attentive group of about 30-35 people of various nationalities. "Phoenix and Monokeros were allegories of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions" was the title of my speech.

It was a great honor and indeed a great emotion 'to teach' (as probably the unique non-academic lecturer of the FIEC 2009 Berlin Conference), also if only for half a hour, in the same university where 29 Nobel-prize winners taught their innovative and sometimes revolutionary theories. Big photos of these famous Professors-Scientists are now upstairs on the walls of the 2-nd floor, for instance those of Planck, Heisemberg, Einstein, Hertz, Max von Laue, Debye, ...

I remember to all my readers that the FIEC is the "Fédération Internationale des Associations d'Etudes Classiques", that is the International Federation of the Societies of Classical Studies, the congresses/conferences of which take place every fifth year in a different capital or main city of the country of a FIEC_member national Association of Classical Studies. More than 80 national associations take actually part in the FIEC federation.
