When on May 13th, 1981, the young Turk Mehmet Alì Agca shot the pope John Paul II there was a very particular astroNomical situation, a very seldom one.

In those days the two planets Jupiter and Saturn, which in my opinion are the throbbing heart of the heideggerian Seinsgeschichte or Being-history, were performing a sosaid TRIPLE CONJUNCTION in the zodiacal constellation of Virgo , i.e. a rare astroNomical phenomenon during which the two planets - seen from here, from the Earth - align three times in a time interval of six-seven months. Both planets were almost at the end of their apparent retrograde motion and Jupiter had passed to the right of his 'father' Saturn on March 4th, 1981, where it was going now to sit down, for some days.

To understand the rarity of the phenomenon one must consider that JUPITER AND SATURN will give place to a similar event only in 258 years (13th J-S conjunction after that of 1981), in the second part of year 2238 (Sept. 8th) and at beginning of year 2239 (Jan.13th, March 23rd), in the constellation of Gemini (see graphics behind blog title).

L'occultazione lunare di Giove (in congiunzione con Saturno) che ebbe

3-4 giorni prima di Pesach di quell'anno

E' noto a tutti che la pasqua ebraica Pesach o Passover cade sempre al primo plenilunio dopo l'equinozio di primavera (quest'anno è proprio oggi), mentre la Pasqua cristiana è fissata alla prima domenica successiva a tale evento (quest'anno è la prossima domenica, 20 aprile).
Ciò premesso, voglio ora richiamare l'attenzione dei miei lettori - particolarmente quella degli amici astronomi ed astrofili - sui  fenomeni avvenuti nei primi giorni dell'anno (che oggi chiamiamo) 35 dC. Va premesso che proprio in quei giorni era in atto il secondo allineamento Giove-Saturno della congiunzione del 34-35 [che io ho - già da sei/sette anni - identificato con la fenice di cui parla Tacito nel VI libro dei suoi Annali, al cap. 28]. Avvenne poi che alcuni giorni prima di Pesach, cioè del plenilunio, la Luna stessa occultò (ma solo per circa un'ora) Giove (immagine sopra a sinistra).
Pesach di quell'anno (che secondo me coincide poi con la prima Pasqua cristiana) avvenne dunque in una situazione astronomica del tutto particolare, più unica che rara direi!! La sera cioè l'inizio di Pesach erano presenti ben tre corpi celesti assai significativi per gli israeliti, la coppia 'padre-figlio' Saturno-Giove più la Luna; quest'ultimo corpo/pietra qualche giorno prima aveva occultato il 'figlio' Giove, poi era rotolata via e lo aveva liberato, rendendolo di nuovo visibile nell'alto del cielo.
Ecco, io volevo pregare TUTTI gli amici astronomi ed astrofili di verificare tecnicamente e scientificamente tutta questa questione, particolarmente il fatto che la zona/striscia di visibilità dell'occultazione lunare di Giove (e fors'anche di Saturno) sembra - con gli attuali programmi/software astronomici - limitata all'America del sud, cosa evidentemente poco congruente con l'ipotetica possibilità di una mitizzazione di quegli eventi astronomici, avvenuta in Medioriente o a Roma. Potrebbe darsi insomma che ci siano da rivedere le attuali formule per il DeltaT implementate nei software astronomici.
Per concludere, Buona Pesach e Buona Pasqua a tutti e, soprattutto, buon lavoro con i vs software!!

JUST ARRIVED ... HEIDEGGERS GA - BAND 96 !

I have just received home the book I ordered on Amazon.it: M. Heidegger - Gesamtausgabe Band 96 - Ueberlegungen XII-XV (Schwarze Hefte 1939-1941).
I'm going to begin the reading of the Schwarze Hefte with the third volume of them because I will see if the Shepherd of the Being was - in these private/ personal Ueberlegungen and while he had (toward the autumn of 1940) at nighttime the Beyng directly above his head  - somehow less cryptic then in his other works, when he was only waiting for the coming of the Beyng. 

Finally I'm curious to read some of the many anti-Semitic expressions about which we heard in these last months, also to understand if and how much they'll influence Heidegger's philosophical legacy.
