
The graphics on the right refer to the sosaid 'appearance of the phoenix' described in Tacitus' Annals, VI.28,
toward the end of Tiberius' reign, i.e. to the double Jupiter-Saturn planetary conjunction which tooks place from 34, Sept.-Oct. till to 35, April-May
(the two alignments of the two planets are in correspondence with the two minimums of the red line).
